Why There: Three main reasons for Pensacola... 1) Our first full family vacation, 2) Casey's wedding, 3) I already had one in the Gulfport/Biloxi area and didn't want to put another one there. Besides we got to see the Blue Angels in Pensacola and the beach was much better there than Gulfport. :)
What The Donation is For: The fundraiser helps fund ongoing alumni programs.

These bricks go along the Alumni/Friends Memorial Walk leading to the M.J. Menge Bell Tower.
I added this brick and the year 6 brick at the same time and I originally sent in this year's inscripton saying "6th Anniv 3/21/2002". I was casually going through my notes and realized what I had done and I freaked out. I had already talked to Ms. Catherine Ganley to buy it in the first place, and had explained the story to her. She thought it was a really thoughtful and romantic gift, so she laughed and laughed when a few days later I called her, all in a fret, saying I had gotten the year wrong!
She calmly let me know that it was ok, and she promised to fix it before the engravers made the brick.
