Notes:
Getting this brick was so much fun. I worked with Evelyn Rudie at the playhouse to get the brick. She was awesome to work with and encouraged you to come out and see the brick and we had several conversations both via email and on the phone. She thought it was a wonderful idea, but I got her a little confused about why I was celebrating a 6th anniversary in 2004. Here are some of our emails back and forth...

Hi, Randall:

That is SO romantic! Your wife will be absolutely thrilled! Someday you’ll have to make the “Brick” journey with her and travel to all ten places!

Our box office opens at 11:00am PST, so that would be the best time to call.

Congratulations on 10 years!

Cheers,

E

Evelyn:

The "anniversary" is our wedding anniversary. We were married in 1998 and are celebrating our 10 year anniversary this year. What I am trying to do is get 10 bricks all over the US to commemorate special events in our life. In 2004 we fulfilled one of my wife's dreams to come to Hollywood, go the the Emmy's, and do the typical tourist thing in LA. One of our stops was the Santa Monica Pier, so I thought your theatre would be a perfect commemoration of the trip. I'll be giving my wife the details of all 10 bricks on our anniversary in March (it is a secret to this point). A side benefit is my wife is coming back out to LA with a friend in April and I think once she knows about the bricks she will want to swing by the Playhouse to see the brick.

So 03/21/2004 was our 6th wedding anniversary.

Also, I'll be calling back today to make the payment. I missed a call from someone there yesterday, so I'll try to call around 9 or 10am PST today. Thanks so much for your help!

Hi, Randall:

One quick question about the “math” – if it’s a six /year/ anniversary, would the date by 03/21/2002? If the year is 2004, wouldn’t it be a 4th anniversary? Or is it something special that doesn’t have anything to do with years. Just checking!
