Talked with Sarah Oram about getting the brick. She was blown away with the idea of this Buy a Brick anniversary thing and said she’d get us a special spot as well as tell all her “male friends” to do the same thing for their wives. She told me to talk to her when we visit and she’ll remember the story and take us to the brick. Later, Sarah was promoted from the fundraising department to Executive Director of the WNC Nature Center. When I called back to make sure everything was ready, she said she had loved the idea so much that she had put our story in their newsletter. She wants us to get photos and everything when we stop by. She has been so awesome to work with, the only regret about this whole thing is that her schedule conflicts with our anniversary so we won't get to meet her when we come. But she talked to Tracy Trout and Tracy is going to connect with us when we come...and they will have a newsletter for us to take as a gift.
